Private Jet Transfers for NRI Weddings
NRI wedding travel usually breaks into two parts. The family flies from abroad into an Indian gateway on a scheduled airline, then needs a private jet the same day to the city where the events actually happen: Udaipur, Jaipur, Goa, or somewhere else on the card. KC Air brokers that India charter with DGCA-approved NSOP operators. We do not sell airline tickets, and we do not own the jet.
Start the gateway conversation on private jet hire in Delhi or private jet charter in Mumbai. If the jet continues by helicopter to a farmhouse or a hotel lawn, use wedding helicopter services and destination wedding guest charter. Mumbai families sometimes meet the aircraft via Navi Mumbai Airport.
The charter usually starts after immigration
A request to position a private jet from London, Dubai, Singapore or New York into India is a different permission set: range, traffic rights, landing permits, customs and crew. Operators can be asked. This page does not promise an international sector. What we arrange every wedding season is the domestic leg after the family has landed at Delhi, Mumbai or another Indian airport and cleared arrival formalities.
Do not schedule the jet to depart forty-five minutes after the airline's scheduled landing. Immigration, baggage and a missed connection all slip. Send the airline flight numbers and a realistic buffer, and treat the buffer as a plan rather than a promise that the airline will be on time. Passengers should be reachable on a phone that works in India before they leave the terminal.
Several households, one wedding evening
Parents, the couple and cousins often land on different flights, sometimes at different airports. One aircraft can wait for a later inbound, within crew duty and airport parking, or you book separate sectors. Waiting is quoted. It is not open-ended. If twenty people land inside two hours, say so in the first email. A small cabin will not absorb the whole group, and the operator may propose one larger cabin or two aircraft. We will not name a registration until that operator confirms it.
Manifest names need to match passports. Foreign nationals travel on the passport, and OCI or visa status is the passenger's responsibility. We do not give immigration advice. Children, infants and anyone who cannot manage airstairs should be flagged before the category is chosen. A heavy lehenga and a parent who needs a slow walk to the aircraft are operational facts, not details for the day of travel.
Wedding clothes, jewellery and the hold
Lehenga boxes, sherwanis, turbans and gifts are why families leave the airline in the first place. Tell us which pieces must ride in the cabin and which can go in the hold, and whether a second car should take the boxes if the cabin is full of people. Soft bags load more easily than rigid crates. If a case is coming from overseas with the family, include it in the weight note rather than adding it on the ramp.
Common city pairs already have corridor notes: Delhi to Udaipur, Mumbai to Udaipur, Delhi to Jaipur and Mumbai to Goa. Those pages describe the route. They are not a fare and they are not a holding reservation. The helicopter that meets the jet is a second confirmation, with its own weather and daylight limit.
What the first message should contain
- Gateway airport, wedding city, date, and whether the trip is one-way or return.
- Airline flight numbers and how long a delay you can absorb.
- Passenger count per arrival wave, not a single family total.
- Cabin bags that cannot be separated from the passenger, including outfits and jewellery cases.
- Any onward helicopter, with the venue pin, if the same afternoon continues by air.
One person on the family side should be allowed to change the plan. A group chat with every cousin editing the passenger list is how manifests go wrong on a Saturday. If an Indian company is paying and needs a GST invoice, say that when you ask for the quote so the paperwork matches the payer.
Rates and the desk contact
Charter rates depend on fuel prices and availability. KC Air does not publish an NRI wedding rate card. We check jet and helicopter availability with DGCA-approved NSOP operators and send an updated quotation for each enquiry. Positioning into the gateway, a long wait for a late airline, overnight crew and a return days later are all part of that figure. The final price is confirmed in writing after availability is checked.

FAQ
Can you fly our family from overseas straight to the wedding city?
International sectors are asked case by case and are not promised here. The usual booking is a private jet after the family lands in India and clears arrival formalities, from that gateway to the wedding city.
Our relatives land on different flights. Can one jet take everyone?
Sometimes, if the later passengers fit crew duty and parking. Otherwise book separate sectors. Send the headcount of each wave. A small cabin will not take a whole guest list that arrives together.
How should we declare wedding outfits and jewellery?
Say which bags must stay in the cabin and which can go in the hold, and include them in the first weight note. Add cases on the ramp and the operator may have to revisit the aircraft category.
Can the jet meet a helicopter the same day?
Yes as two separate confirmations. Leave a buffer so a late jet does not push the helicopter into poor light or poor weather. Share the venue pin with the jet request.
Who quotes the trip?
Kartik Choudhary. WhatsApp or call +91 8512092494, or email charter@kcair.in or info@kcair.in, with the route, the date and the number of passengers. Rates depend on fuel prices and availability. KC Air checks availability and sends an updated quotation. Flights are operated by DGCA-approved NSOP operators.
