Guest Charter for Destination Weddings
Destination wedding guest charter means moving households who are not the couple: parents, cousins and friends who must be at Udaipur, Jaipur, Goa, Jim Corbett, Rishikesh or another city before a fixed event. KC Air brokers those sectors with DGCA-approved NSOP operators. There is no published shuttle and no seat map you can hold this morning. Each aircraft is confirmed for your date, or it is not.
We do not own the jets or the helicopters. A couple's own sky entrance is a different page, helicopter entry for the bride or groom. The national wedding rules are on wedding helicopter services. Families connecting from overseas should start with NRI wedding private jet.
Jet where both ends have a runway
City pairs with airports at both ends are jet or turboprop conversations. The notes already on this site are Delhi to Udaipur, Mumbai to Udaipur, Delhi to Jaipur, Mumbai to Goa and Delhi to Dehradun. Dehradun's airport is the usual fixed-wing gateway when the wedding itself is in Rishikesh. Those pages are corridor guides, not fares and not reserved aircraft.
Gateway choice still matters. Delhi and Mumbai are the desks most families already know: private jet hire in Delhi and private jet charter in Mumbai. If the guests are spread across both cities, send two lists. One aircraft rarely collects everyone.
Helicopter when the venue has no runway
A resort, a farmhouse, a villa or a riverside property is a helicopter question only after the operator accepts the site. City pages for the usual wedding helicopters are Udaipur, Jaipur, Goa and Delhi NCR. Goa guests may land at either airport and still need a coastal hop. That hop is a second booking.
Jim Corbett is not Udaipur with palm trees. Fixed-wing guests usually plan through Pantnagar, and a helicopter from there, or from Delhi, to a lodge goes ahead only if the operator accepts the distance, the fuel plan and the actual pad. Delhi to a lodge can need a fuel stop. We will not promise a non-stop on this page. Rishikesh weddings use Dehradun's airport as the usual jet arrival, then a road or a helicopter if a site near the Ganges is approved. That is not a Char Dham yatra. Pilgrimage charters stay on Char Dham helicopter.
How a planner should send the movements
One email, one owner. For each group: origin city, date, must-arrive-by time, passenger count, hotel or venue, and a baggage note. Names can follow once the category is clear, but they must match identity documents before the operator files a manifest. Please do not ask forty guests to edit one WhatsApp thread. Appoint a planner who can approve a change.
- Split by household and by day. An entire guest list is not one load.
- Mark who must travel together and who can take a later aircraft.
- Flag elders, infants and anyone who cannot use airstairs.
- Keep outfits that cannot be separated in the cabin note.
- State the car fallback if weather stops the helicopter.
Airports such as Udaipur cannot take an unlimited number of private arrivals at the same minute. Offer a window and let the operator stagger the landings. Ceremony times move. The stagger has to be able to move with them, inside crew duty.
Empty legs and combined trips
A genuine empty leg is a reposition someone else has already committed to. It can suit a guest group whose timing is flexible, and it disappears if the primary charter moves. Live reposition questions belong on empty leg flights. Do not print an empty-leg arrival on a wedding invite.
Jet plus helicopter on the same afternoon needs a buffer so the rotary crew is not launched because the jet is late and the light is going. Say both sectors in the first message. The contact desk can hold the whole card if each sector has its own route, time and headcount.
Group quotes, fuel and the person who replies
Charter rates depend on fuel prices and availability. KC Air does not publish a per-guest fare or a group rate card for destination weddings. We check jet and helicopter availability with DGCA-approved NSOP operators and send an updated quotation for each enquiry. More aircraft, positioning and holds between ceremonies change the quotation. The final price is confirmed in writing after availability is checked.
Kartik Choudhary is the contact for planners and families. WhatsApp or call +91 8512092494, or email charter@kcair.in or info@kcair.in. Send the route, the date and the number of passengers. A guest list can follow. The route and the date cannot.
FAQ
Can one aircraft carry the whole guest list?
Usually not. Cabins are small compared with a wedding. Send headcount by household and by day so the operator can propose one larger cabin or several aircraft. Nothing is reserved until that operator confirms it.
Which of these destinations need a helicopter as well as a jet?
Udaipur, Jaipur, Goa and Rishikesh often start with a jet into the airport, then a helicopter only if the venue justifies it and the site is approved. Jim Corbett lodges more often need a site check, with Pantnagar as the usual fixed-wing airport. The operator confirms the combination.
How should we send guest movements?
One list from one planner: origin, date, must-arrive time, passenger count, hotel or venue, and baggage. Names must match identity documents before departure. Keep cousins out of a shared editing thread.
Is a Rishikesh wedding the same as Char Dham?
No. A wedding arrival uses Dehradun's airport and, if approved, a separate hop toward Rishikesh. Char Dham is a high-altitude yatra enquiry on its own page.
Do you publish group rates?
No. Rates depend on fuel prices and availability. Kartik Choudhary checks jet and helicopter availability and sends an updated quotation. WhatsApp or call +91 8512092494, or email charter@kcair.in or info@kcair.in, with the route, the date and the number of passengers. DGCA-approved NSOP operators fly the trips.
